Description
The Jacobite shirt takes its name and style from the Jacobites, the Highlanders who were supporters of Bonnie Prince Charlie. It is worn casually, usually with a kilt, but sometimes with jeans or casual trousers.
The simplicity of the lace fastening is reminiscent of times past when technology wasn’t available to make buttonholes by machine. The shirt has loose cut sleeves, with buttoned cuffs to keep it neat at the wrists.
